冻融-干湿循环作用下土工合成黏土衬垫防渗性能

摘要:土工合成黏土衬垫(Geosynthetic Clay Liners,GCL)是废弃物处置场底部衬垫系统和上部覆盖系统建设中经常使用的一种材料。由于气候的周期性变化对GCL的防渗性能会造成一定的影响,分析了冻融循环和干湿循环作用下GCL渗透系数变化的内在机制及规律。膨润土黏土粒径及双电层变化是影响GCL渗透系数改变的主要原因,冻融循环对GCL防渗性能的影响较小,而干湿循环对GCL渗透系数的影响较大。

Change law of hydraulic performance of geosynthetic clay liners under freeze-thaw and wet-dry cycling

Abstract:Geosynthetic Clay Liners(GCLs)is a commonly material in the construction of composite bottom liner systems and cover systems for waste disposal sites. As periodic change of climate has some effect on the hydraulic performance of GCLs,the intrinsic mechanism and the trend of the change in hydraulic conductivity for GCLs under freeze-thaw and wet-dry cycling were reviewed in this paper. The changes in particles size and thickness of diffuse double layers primarily account for the changes in hydraulic conductivity of GCLs. Generally,the freeze-thaw cycling has relatively small effect on the hydraulic conductivity of GCLs. In contrast,the wet-dry cycling has significantly large impact on the hydraulic conductivity of GCLs.
